- Profile Information: Profile photos, location (City/Country), and bio/description.
- Listing Details: Information about the watches you list (Brand, Model, Serial/Reference Numbers, Condition, Images).
- Communications: The contents of chats and messages exchanged with other users through the App.
B. Information We Automatically Collect
- Device Data: IP address, device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers (Device ID/Advertising ID).
- Usage Data: Log files, pages viewed, time spent on the app, and search history (e.g., searches for "Rolex Daytona").
C. Financial Information
Important: Chronobay is a P2P marketplace. We do not process payments or collect credit card/banking information. Financial details (such as wire transfer instructions or crypto wallet addresses) are shared directly between the Buyer and Seller within the chat at their own discretion.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
- To Provide the Service: Creating accounts, hosting listings, and enabling the search and chat functionality.
- Verification & Safety (Critical): Reviewing IDs and business licenses to approve "Verified Dealer" or "Verified Collector" status and to prevent fraud, money laundering, and the sale of stolen goods.
- Customer Support: Responding to your inquiries and resolving technical issues.
- Community Management: Monitoring listing accuracy and investigating reports of misconduct or counterfeit items.
- Marketing & Notifications: Sending you push notifications or emails regarding account updates, new messages, or promotional content (you can opt-out of marketing at any time).
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- With Other Users:
- Publicly: Your Username, Profile Photo, City/Country, and Listings are visible to all users.
- Privately: Information you choose to share in Direct Messages (chats) is visible to the recipient.
- Service Providers: We may share data with third-party vendors who perform services for us (e.g., cloud hosting providers like AWS/Google Cloud, email delivery services, or identity verification API partners).
- Legal Obligations: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency) regarding stolen watches or fraud.
- Business Transfers: If Chronobay is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred.

Chronobay offers a Direct Messaging service. Please be aware:
- Chats are not end-to-end encrypted in a way that prevents Chronobay Admins from accessing them.
- We reserve the right to review chat logs only if a transaction is flagged for fraud, abuse, or a violation of our Community Standards. This is to ensure the safety of our P2P network.
8. Children's Privacy
Chronobay is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it immediately.
